These are the rules for using Tarot Life Path. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not, please do not use the site.
The most important part. A tarot reading here is for reflection and entertainment. It is not advice — not medical, not legal, not financial, not psychological. Nothing you read on this site should replace a doctor, a lawyer, an accountant or a therapist, and no decision that matters should rest on it.
What the service is
You ask a question, or none at all. Thirteen cards are drawn from a full 78-card deck, upright or reversed. An interpretation is then written for those specific cards, in the position they landed and against the question you asked.
The interpretation is generated automatically. It is written fresh each time rather than pulled from a stock of prepared paragraphs, but it is not written by a person, and it makes no claim to predict the future.
Who can use it
You must be at least 18 years old. If you create an account, the details you give must be your own and accurate.
Free readings and accounts
A limited number of readings are available without an account. Once those are used, continuing requires signing in. We count free readings by visitor and by network address, so clearing your browser will not reset the count.
You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us if you think someone else has got into it.
Paid plans
Paid plans renew automatically for the period you chose until you cancel. Prices are shown before you pay and include any applicable tax. Payments are processed by Stripe.
You can cancel at any time. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not refund part-used periods except where the law requires it.
If you are a consumer in the EU
You normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase made online. Because a reading is delivered to you immediately, you agree that delivery starts at once and you acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal for that reading as soon as it has been written for you. Your withdrawal right for the rest of an unused subscription period is unaffected.
How you may use it
Please do not:
- use scripts, bots or any automated means to take readings;
- try to get around the free reading limits or the sign-in requirement;
- attempt to break, overload or probe the site's security;
- resell the readings or present them as your own professional advice;
- submit content that is unlawful, abusive, or about other people without their knowledge.
We may suspend or close an account that does any of these.
Who owns what
The site's name, design, text and code belong to Tarot Life Path. The card images are historical artwork in the public domain. The interpretation written for your reading is yours to keep, save and share.
No guarantees
The site is provided as it is. We do not promise it will always be available, uninterrupted or free of faults, and we do not promise that any reading will be accurate, useful or meaningful to you.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from decisions you take after a reading. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Your data
How we handle your information is set out in our Privacy Policy. You can erase your account and everything in it yourself, at any time, from the Your data section shown when you are signed in.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms; the date at the top will change when we do. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the new version. Questions go to contact@tarotlifepath.com.
